Calibration Tracking
Table of Contents
Status Colors
Every gauge shows a color-coded status based on its next calibration date:
| Status | Color | Condition |
|---|---|---|
| In Calibration | Green | Next calibration is more than 30 days away. |
| Due Soon | Yellow | Next calibration is within 30 days. |
| Overdue | Red | Next calibration date has passed. |
| Inactive | Gray | Gauge is marked as inactive (retired, out of service). |
Calibration Frequencies
The next calibration date is automatically calculated from the last calibration date plus the frequency:
| Frequency | Days |
|---|---|
| Monthly | 30 |
| Quarterly | 90 |
| Semi-Annual | 182 |
| Annual | 365 |
| 2-Year | 730 |
| Custom | User-specified |
Marking a Gauge as Calibrated
When a gauge is calibrated, tap the checkmark button on its card. This updates the last calibration date to today and recalculates the next calibration date automatically.
Best Practices
- Check your gauge list regularly -- overdue gauges sort to the top for quick identification.
- Use the "Due Soon" filter to plan upcoming calibrations before they become overdue.
- Mark inactive gauges as "Inactive" rather than deleting them to keep a complete inventory record.
