By accessing or using GaugeConnection, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

GaugeConnection provides the following free services:

• Gauge inventory management and tracking
• Calibration schedule management with automatic date calculation
• Color-coded calibration status dashboard
• Gauge list sharing and team collaboration
• CSV data export
• Measurement system analysis tools, including Gauge R&R, gauge capability, measurement uncertainty, and stability analysis
• Educational and reference content, including the Learning Center and help articles

These services are provided as-is. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time.

User Responsibilities

As a user, you agree to:

• Use the service only for lawful purposes related to gauge and calibration management.
• Provide accurate information when creating gauge records.
• Not misuse, overload, or disrupt the service.
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer or copy the software.

Intellectual Property

GaugeConnection and its design, code, and content are the property of Calidad SA. You may not reproduce or redistribute any part of the service without permission.

Your Data

You retain ownership of the gauge and calibration data you enter. We do not claim any rights to your data. You may export or delete your data at any time.

Disclaimer

GaugeConnection is a tracking and analysis tool, not a calibration service, testing laboratory, or consultancy. We do not certify, validate, or guarantee the accuracy of calibration data, and we do not certify, validate, or guarantee the accuracy, suitability, or completeness of any calculation, analysis, chart, or report the service produces. All results are generated from the data you supply and depend on the design and execution of your study. You are responsible for reviewing and validating any result before relying on it, and for ensuring compliance with applicable quality standards (ISO 17025, IATF 16949, AIAG MSA, ISO 22514, etc.).

Educational Content

The Learning Center, help articles, worked examples, formulas, and interactive tools are provided for general information and training purposes only. Examples use illustrative data and do not represent any real gauge, part, or process. This material is not professional, engineering, metrological, or legal advice, and is not a substitute for the judgement of a qualified person. Any method, calculation, or result should be reviewed and confirmed by a qualified and trained person before it is relied on for product acceptance, process control, or any other quality decision.

Standards and Audit Requirements

References to published standards are provided for context only. No guarantee is made that this service, its educational content, or any output it produces conforms to or satisfies any standard, specification, customer requirement, or audit criterion. Where a published standard applies, the current official text of that standard governs, and any conflict with our content should be resolved in favour of the standard. Acceptance criteria and thresholds referenced in our content, including commonly used values such as the 10% and 30% Gauge R&R bands, are widely used conventions rather than compliance rules; the criteria applicable to your parts are determined by your own procedures and your customers. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance windows and outages may occur.

Communications

By creating an account, you agree to receive service-related communications from us, including announcements about new features, product updates, tips, and promotional offers. These communications may be delivered via email, text message (SMS), messaging platforms such as WhatsApp, or other channels associated with your account.

You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions included in each message or by contacting us through our contact page.
